Tuffy

My heart almost broke today. My little chicken Tuffy got caught by a hawk today, the same way her mother died. BUT SHE LIVED! She was able to struggle out of the hawk’s talons and find cover! I couldn’t believe it, especially since she’s so small (she’s only about 8 inches tall) As far as I can tell, she doesn’t have any injuries. She’s sticking by our cat Mico to be safe. She’s a strong little bird!
